Some of the most notable best actor in a network drama candidates include several cast members from the CBS procedural crime drama ‘NCIS,’ arguably one of the best current dramatic TV shows on the air. Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly and Sean Murray are good examples. Other notable contenders include Nathan Fillion (‘Castle’), Jensen Ackles (‘Supernatural’) and Alex O’Loughlin (‘Hawaii Five-0′).
